We’ll chat about your goals for the session, how you imagine displaying your images, and I’ll share insights from decades of experience to help guide you through every step. From what to wear and how to prep your pet, to what to expect on session day—nothing is left to chance. The result? A relaxed, personalized experience designed just for you.

Your Photo Session
Whether we’re in my studio or out on location, this is your time to relax, enjoy the moment, and trust that you’re in good hands. With 40 years of experience behind the camera, I know how to create an environment where both people and pets feel at ease. I’ll gently guide you with natural prompts and direction to capture portraits that feel real, emotional, and timeless. Expect laughter, a few surprises, and images that celebrate the connection you share with your pet.

Image Review & Selection
Shortly after your session—often the same day—we’ll review your images together and choose your favorites while everything’s still fresh and exciting. This in-person (or same-day) selection process is simple, personal, and helps you move from “just pictures” to meaningful, lasting artwork. I’ll guide you through print and product options that bring your portraits to life in a way that fits your style and your space.
