Philadelphia & Collegeville Executive Headshot FAQ
I don’t feel photogenic. Can you still get a great shot?
"Absolutely. In fact, 90% of my clients start the session by telling me they hate having their picture taken. My job isn’t just to click a shutter; it’s to coach you through the 'awkwardness.' I use specific posing techniques and real-time expression coaching to help you relax. We’ll look at the images together as we go, so you can see exactly how great you look before you even leave the studio."
What should I wear for a professional executive headshot?
"Confidence starts with the right fit. For a classic corporate look, I recommend clean, pressed attire—think a well-tailored suit or a crisp, solid-colored shirt. Avoid busy patterns or distracting necklines that pull focus away from your face. Pro Tip: Bring 2–3 options! We’ll look at them together against the lighting and backgrounds to see what pops. If you’re a professional in Philadelphia or the Main Line, we want your look to match your industry’s 'vibe.'"
Do I need professional hair and makeup?
"Keep it simple and polished. The goal is the best version of you. Hydration is key, so drink plenty of water and moisturize in the days leading up to your shoot. If you want that extra level of 'camera-ready' polish, I have a list of top-tier hair and makeup artists in the Collegeville area I’m happy to refer you to."
What happens during the session?
"It’s a collaboration, not a chore. We’ll start with a few 'warm-up' shots to get the lighting perfect and help you get used to the camera. I’ll guide you through every pose and expression—from the 'approachable CEO' to the 'determined leader.' It’s a relaxed, fun environment designed to get you images you’ll actually be proud to put on LinkedIn."
Actor or Entertainer?
"I tailor every shoot to the specific 'brand' you need to project. Whether you need a commercial look or a dramatic theatrical headshot, we’ll plan out a variety of characters and styles before we start. Let’s chat ahead of time so I can make sure your portfolio stands out to Philly and NYC casting directors."
How and when will I receive my final images?
"Quality takes a little time, but not too much. Your final, professionally retouched images are delivered via a private gallery within 7-10 business days. You’ll receive high-resolution files for printing and web-optimized versions for your website and social media. Need them sooner? Just ask about rush delivery."
Do you offer group rates for Philadelphia companies?
"Yes. I frequently handle team headshots for law firms, medical practices, and corporate offices across the Greater Philadelphia area. I can set up a mobile studio at your office or host your team at my Collegeville studio. Contact me for a custom quote for your group."
Is an appointment or deposit required?
"Yes, to give every client my full attention, I work by appointment only. A session fee is required to reserve your date and time. We know life in the business world is fast-paced—if you need to reschedule, just give us 48 hours' notice and we’ll move your deposit to a new date."
